According to a recent Infotrack survey, at least 72% of Kenyans believe their country is moving in the wrong way.

Only 15% of people favour President William Ruto's administration, and only 12% believe the nation is going in the right or wrong path.

Some of the reasons offered by the respondents for why they believe the country is moving in the wrong path include the high cost of living, unemployment, and weak government.

This is an improvement from the February survey, when 62% of respondents said the nation was going in the wrong direction.

The biggest percentage of sampled individuals came from Nyanza, at 82 percent, followed by Western, at 79 percent.

Central had 61 percent, while North Eastern had 67 percent. Interviews with Kenyans over the age of 18 who came from all 47 counties were conducted.

Telephone interviews were used for the data gathering process. A sample of 2,400 people was used in the poll, which was conducted between July 3 and 8.
