Reason Karen Nyamu has defended DJ Fatxo in Jeff Mwathi's mystery death

Famous politician and attorney Karen Nyamu has argued that Kenyans misjudged her lover Samidoh in the case of her nephew Jeff Mwathi's death, which occurred roughly five months ago.

The nephew of the Mugiithi singer unexpectedly passed away on February 22 while visiting DJ Fatxo's residence, and Kenyan internet users pressured Samidoh to weigh in on the situation and get involved.

Nyamu revealed that although he did not participate in the investigation into his nephew's death in front of the public, her baby daddy was actively involved in it in an interview with Ala C for the Reke Ciume and Ene episode.

"Of course, people judged him (Samidoh) wrongly. There is nothing he did not do. Even the lawyers who were handling the case are his personal lawyers. They are the ones who do his work and they are the same ones who were always in Kiambu all day with Jeff's mother," Karen Nyamu said.

The senator also criticised Kenyans for putting too much emphasis on DJ Fatxo and treating him as the only suspect despite the fact that the evidence showed that it was highly unlikely that he was responsible for the 23-year-old's murder.

"Even if it happened in his house, although he may know who did it, not him. It seems that when Jeff died, Fatxo was outside the house. The investigation shows that," she said.

When Samidoh's nephew passed away, according to Nyamu, the public concentrated too much on DJ Fatxo and neglected to pay attention to the other individuals in his home.

The senator added that Jeff's mother is a very close friend of hers and that she frequently speaks with her and gives her support as she adjusts to life without her son.

After a comprehensive inquiry, the DCI cleared DJ Fatxo and his associates in the death of Jeff Mwathi, which left many people wondering how the young man had died.
