In February 2023, Sanaipei Tande announced her retirement from the popular television series "Kina."

Her abrupt departure from the show disappointed viewers who loved her portrayal as Nana Tandale on television.

She addressed this in a fresh interview with Oga Obinna for his KulaCooler program on Monday, July 17.

"Chronic fatigue. The honest truth. I know I mean I was reading some comments on social media. I was like where do you people get these things from? eh ati tuliskia alikuwa na beef na beef na nani?

Mi niko job. You know I think people need to understand something you don't get a job to go make friends.

You get what I mean. You go to your job, you do your job. If you click with somebody yay, if you dont you are not there to make friends."

There were therefore numerous stories. Oh, she's fighting with someone, hawaku muongeza doh.

There were many rumours, but the real reality was that she was chronically tired. It took a lot of labour."

In her statement announcing her departure in February, Sana stated she cherished her time portraying the challenging character.The singer mentioned this to Obinna;

"I was starting to a lot of...my health was being affected. Let's put it like that. My health was really being affected I couldn't go on. I needed time to rest."

The production gave in to her demands.

"It was thank you, etc, etc thank you etcetera, and that was it," she shared.

Was she a revision of the first tale?

"Not write me out of the script, get a replacement. they got a replacement. Kwani ni Sanaipei alikuwa nini..." she asked as Obinna insisted her character was killed off who wasn't convinced.

"They didn't write me out. How do they write me out if the Nana character continues?"

People, according to Sanaipei, are still clamouring for her to appear on the programme.

"Jamani mimi nilimalizana na Kina," adding that she won't be forced to go back by anyone.
