Muthee Kiengei, a radio broadcaster and well-known Nairobi preacher, has responded sharply to some online trolls who insulted him after he rented a flashy German limousine to pick up his newborn child from the hospital.

Joyceline Ngaru, Kiengei's wife, just had a baby, and the media celebrity went all out to express his happiness and gratitude for the new blessing.

The new father thrilled online users after posting a video of him and his son in a posh white BMW limousine with a modern white and black leather inside with BMW insignia nearly everywhere on social media.

The media star-turned-preacher shared bits of the journey and gushed about how thrilled he was to meet his newborn daughter, Baby June, pointing out that the child was his mother's reincarnate. As he demonstrated the ride's appearance and interior, he also made jokes.

His son was definitely excited to meet his little sister as he sat inside the car carrying balloons.

While some of his followers and admirers congratulated him on the birth of the child, some fans and internet users were offended by Kiengei's remark and criticized the media celebrity for bragging.

In response to those who criticized Kiengei for the route he took to meet his newborn daughter, he scolded the detractors and advised them to learn to stay in their respective lanes to prevent comparisons and jealousy.

The new father insisted on his Facebook page that he wasn't trying to impress anyone and was simply living within his means, like everyone else should.

"Sio show off kila mtu apende mtoto wake na kwa uwezo wako binafsi vile utaweza fanya kitu mke wako afurahi (This is not showoff, everyone should love their child to the best of their ability. Whatever you can do to make your wife happy, will make your wife happy)," the flashy comedian's post read.

The radio comedian tweeted a video of himself and his son enthusiastically leaving to go pick the child yesterday while on his way to pick up his daughter and wife from the hospital.

"Sasa tunaendea baby June my mother in style. Yes I brought my mother into the world and now we are going to pick her up," said the preacher.

He proceeded to use the trending "hapa ni wapi" sound as he showed off the limo highlighting that that is how he was going to pick up his newborn daughter.

"Mtu akizaa mama yake anafurahi hivyo!" Kiengei could be heard saying before the video comes to an end.
