Nigerian Tycoon and actress Regina Daniel's husband Prince Ned Nwoko has revealed that he had been invited to the Titan ill-fated adventure that killed 5.

In a statement, the Nigerian politician cum businessman confessed that he missed the trip due to a tight work schedule.

He went on to mourn British aviator George Hamish Livingston Harding, who was his family friend and a business partner.

“I have lost a very dear friend and business partner. Captain Hermish Harding. We both went on a very dangerous expedition to the Southpole Antarctica a few years back.

“He was a gulf stream pilot who flew across the world in a record-breaking expedition by the Guinness world record for circumnavigation of the earth some years ago. He descended into the Mariana,” Prince Ned Nwoko said in part.

He mentioned that Harding had invited him to two trips – the space shuttle last year and this very Titan ill-fated adventure but was tied down with national duties.

“He also invited me on his space shuttle last year and this very Titan ill-fated adventure but I was tied down with national duties. Above all, he was a partner in various research into the eradication of malaria in Africa project.

“He was very enthusiastic about it and always gave his support at every given opportunity. His last message to me was this last Sunday when he told me they were ready to dive into the Titanic if the weather permits," he mentioned.

Prince Ned Nwoko added that his business partner loved adventure and challenges.

“He loved adventure and challenges. My heart bleeds for his dear wife and kids who have become family friends over the years. We will surely miss his wealth of experience,” he added.

All five passengers who were on board the Titan submersible died following a "catastrophic implosion'.

The five were; Hamish Harding (58), Shahzada Dawood (48), Suleman Dawood (19), Paul-Henry Nargeolet (77), and Stockton Rush (61).
