Kenyan artist Otile Brown has responded to online criticism surrounding his art as an entertainer.

Taking to his Instagram stories, the artist shared a snippet video of his new song 'I Need You' accompanied with an angry rant about how his fans no longer inspire him to write good music.

He also called out people criticising his music noting there must be something insanely wrong with their ears and that is why they failed tto catch that he was a lyrical genius and his songs were masterpieces.

"Too many flows... some of you all got wrecked ears for real though," started off the 'Baby Love' crooner.

He went on to add that he was unmotivated by most of his alleged fans and only very few reasons were keeping him in the game.

"Y'all don't inspire me nowadays. The reason why I'm still doing it it's coz of my real ones. Mziki unapoteza maana... that is why I drop the way I drop lol.

Talking about I under perform nowadays, utangoja sana funny," the last of his post read.

Still not done with the critics Obizze yet again took to his Instagram page this time round with a video message.

In the video Otile who is currently working on a love ballad with Ethan Muziki he went on to lecture his fans who were more interested in numbers rather than in the music he was dishing out.

"So I have been seeing some of you guys DM's and you as a fan once you mention to me things about trending then I already know you are not among the fanbase that I have been working hard for and praying for.

Anything can trend. So if you are a fan and you have to see numbers so that you can vibe with a sound then you are not for me," Otile maintained.

Finishing up he added that numbers were not everything and did not necessarily translate to income or an impact in the society or interest.

"If we are going to trend then we will trend for some serious content, just like we have been doing.

Some of you are like, 'the problem is that you changed' and I am like so you wanted me to remain the same? Isn't that boring?

Why are you guys so obsessed with Swahili that you don't want me to do anything else! Shouldn't you be proud that your artist is all rounded? Like I've shown you I'm the best Swahili writer in the game, let me show you something else,"

Obizze urged his fans to give him room and to keep an open mind as he had so much more to offer. He highlighted that he had a multitude of songs he's worked on that he can't wait to release and have people enjoy.
