Akothee reveals never before heard story of Sonko's generosity towards her

Recently entrepreneur and artist Esther Akoth aka Akothee revealed through her Instagram page how she met Mike Sonko while praising the former governor for changing Congestina Achieng's life.

The artist explained how Sonko helped her after she met him back in 2019 at a hotel when she was in Turkana distributing food.

After Sonko saw a very large procession and asked who else was near him, he was informed that Akothee was there.

Sonko called her and gave her Sh 100k of fuel for her cars which contributed greatly to her charity work.

"Allow me Appreciate my Janeko . Crazy people have somethings in common.Big hearts . Back in 2019 as I was in Turkana distributing food , ,We happened to meet in the same hotel With Mhesh Mike Sonko 💪 , he saw a huge convoy then he asked ,who is Around here ,He was told it's AKOTHEE. Then he called me and gave me 100,000 ksh."

Adding,

"His words"Sema mrembo ,naona uko na team kubwa and your logistics must be crazy , chukuwa hii 100,000 ksh weka nayo mafuta , unataka Unga ama maziwa nikuongezeee ? Akaniongezea na Lori MMOJA ya Unga Tukalisha Turkana ."

The mom of five made it clear that Mike Sonko does not help people for PR or to get attention but he does it from his heart.

She ended by thanking Sonko for helping Conjestina Achieng writing, "Sonko doesn't even have A media team following him around like other leaders in government going round for PR purposes. His things are authentic.he is doing him , sonko kama Kuna Mbingunj Cha ukweli , sitashtuka kukutana na wewe huko 🙏Ubarikiwe sanaaaaaa @mike_sonkoBE BLESSED 🙏."

Akothee congratulated him.
