Some of Diamond Platnumz's fans have had peaceful demonstration outside his office in Mbezi, Dar es salaam, Tanzania.

The fans were asking to singer to break his musical silence and release an album; a global album.

"Diamond, you are not fair to us, we want a global album in 2023, your truly, WCB fans," read one of the placards.

Another one read "We are tired of waiting."

A source told this writer that this is just buzz ahead of Diamond Platnumz's announcement of his forthcoming show.

Last year, the singer released an EP dubbed 'First Of All.' The EP was born as a result of creating many songs for his album.

"When you tell people [it’s an] album the expectation becomes too high, I think that’s why some people say you know what: 'I’m going to give an EP," he said in an interview

"I take it very seriously. I’m thinking of how I can promote our music from back home, so for every song I do I have to make sure I don’t let my people down. No matter how much I do this, I still feel: 'But OK what if they don’t like this song?'."

Diamond explained why he also incorporated some lovy-dovy tunes on his EP.

"People love those songs, even I do love them. You know you can be on the bed and you want to listen to a song and it can’t be up-tempo, you need something that can make you feel like you are floating."

He added, "It’s good nowadays to release a song that can be played in the room and in the club as well so it makes it easier to get more streams.”

Last year, the singer was seen with international artistes such as Swiss Beatz,  Snoop Dogg among others.
