Baby Mama: Not ready to go to the city AKA was shot dead

Dj Zinhle, baby mama to late South African rapper Kiernan Forbes (AKA) has turned down a gig that is set to happen in Durban.

AKA was shot down while at Wish Restaurant, located in Durban on February 10th.

Zinhle has said she turned the gig down as she is not ready to visit Durban. Speaking to Times Live, Zinhle said;

"I cannot lie to you guys, I'm not ready for Durban. Emotionally, I'm not ready at all. I get a little anxious thinking about being in Durban. It's going to be a while before I can be in Durban," she said.

She added;

"I'm going through the most. Forget about seeing me in Durban. It's not even that I am mad at Durban. It's just hard. It's only been three months since Kiernan died, so maybe with time. But I'm hoping I never change my mind."

Zinhle and AKA sired a daughter, Kairo Forbes. The club deejay said she is worried about the upcoming father's day

"What am I going to say to Kairo on Father's Day?"

AKA was laid to rest few days after his death at a private ceremony in Westpark Cemetery in Johannesburg.

Just recently, the late rapper won four awards at the Metro FM Music Awards and his family presented them to his grave.

"Kiernan (AKA) you make us so proud, we have come full circle from the very first time you were in this same platform in 2011 for your first Metro FM awards.," said Lynne Forbes, the late rapper's mother.

The rapper was nominated for six awards, he won four of them which include; Artist of the Year, Best Hip Hop Artist, Best Male Artist, and Best Collaboration award for his song with Nasty C, Lemons.
