Photos have gone viral showing the rapper's family presenting the four awards to him at his grave

Late South African rapper AKA was the biggest winner at the just concluded Metro FM Music Awards. 

On their 17th annual awards, the rapper was nominated for six awards, he won four of them which include; Artist of the Year, Best Hip Hop Artist, Best Male Artist, and Best Collaboration award for his song with Nasty C, Lemons.

Well, photos have gone viral showing the rapper's family presenting the four awards to him at his grave.

The photos show his grave covered with a South African flag and the awards placed on top.

The late rapper's mother Lynn Forbes, his father Tony Forbes and AKA's daughter Kairo Forbes accepted an award on his behalf during the award ceremony.

"Kiernan (AKA) you make us so proud, we have come full circle from the very first time you were in this same platform in 2011 for your first Metro FM awards.," said Lynne Forbes, the late rapper's mother.

She then thanked AKA fans for being there for him since the start of his career. 

AKA was gunned down in February this year outside Wish Restaurant in Durban. Kiernan Forbes, was laid to rest about a week after his death at a private burial ceremony at the Westpark Cemetery in Johannesburg.

Police are yet to update the public on the investigation about who shot him dead.
