Communication Authority of Kenya Director General Ezra Chiloba has suspended Pastor Ezekiel Odero and Pastor Paul Mackenzie’s TV stations with immediate effect.
In a statement issued on Friday, April 28, 2023, Chiloba directed that World Evangelism TV and Times TV be shut down.
“Following intensive reviews of content aired by the two stations between January – April, the Authority established that the TV stations violated broadcast requirements and license conditions. World Evangelism TV was found to have aired inappropriate content on exorcism during the Watershed period as well as 12 other violations.
Similarly, Times TV aired inappropriate content on exorcism and flouted 17 other broadcasting license conditions.
The two TV stations World Evangelism TV and Times TV are associated with televangelists Ezekiel Odero and Paul Mackenzie respectively.
The authority has asked Pan African Network (PANG) to remove the channels from their platform until further notice.
