Magarini MP Harrison Kombe has alleged that controversial Pastor Paul Mackenzie buried two wives at the altar in his church.

Speaking in an interview with Citizen TV on Thursday, Kombe said that Mackenzie started his ministry in Malindi before he went to Kilifi.

"Pastor Mackenzie started his ministry in Malindi, Furunzi area. Time went by and he lost his wife and buried her in the church, he lost another one and did the same," Kombe said.

The MP went on to state that the church was closed down after the incident went viral but later Mackenzie took to farming.

"There were wrangles and his church was closed down and he started engaging in farming, this was about three years ago," the MP said.

He narrated that one day when he had gone to Chakama to commission a road construction, he met a young man from Eldoret county who had escaped Mackenzie's camp.

"I did due diligence and took the young man to Malindi's DCI offices. To my surprise the DCI deputy officer of Malindi started praising Mackenzie saying that he is a very clever man, who knows how to talk, he was later released on a bail of Sh10,000," Kome said.
