Reason Davido isn't talking about his late son

Davido released his fourth studio album 'Timeless' and held a press conference ahead of a concert he is set to perform in Lagos, Nigeria.

At the press conference, Davido aimed at talking about his album and the upcoming event. Well, a journalist was stopped by the singer's management when he asked if the singer felt the need to address his issue concerning his personal life.

Davido however answered him;

"There's emotion but not too much emotion in the album. If you listen to Davido's music over the years, I have always been a happy person whether I was going through something or not."

"That side of my life, if I want to talk about it, there's time for that but on this album that's not what I was going for."

Davido and his wife Chioma got married at a secret wedding last year days after the death of their son.

In an interview with Kiekie, the 'If' hitmaker confrmed the rumours as true.

“I have had a lot to think about, time to rest, reflect on a lot of family time. Time to make music again." he said.

Adding “Before I went on break, I actually had an album ready. I had it all ready, but we redid the album. I travelled, I am married. A lot of different things, but we are ready to get back on the road.”

It is believed that the singer paid Chioma's dowry in full and they were then planning for a civil marriage.
