Three of Harmonize's signees Killy, Cheed, and Angela were accused of leaving the singer's label in bad blood.

Killy is one of those former Konde Gang signees and has come out to reveal that Harmonize was the one who terminated his contract and that of two other signees.

Speaking to Clouds FM, Killy said;

"Konde Gang terminated the artiste's contracts. No one ever said that we wanted to leave. We got a call to attend a meeting and we were told that as management they wanted to terminate our contracts. People think we left the label but it is them that terminated the contracts and only one signee was left. The CEO is the owner and he did what he wanted, it is business at the end of the day."

Harmonize had also signed singers Anjella and Cheed.

Before being signed by Harmonize Killy and Cheed were under Alikiba's label, Kings' Music.

"Maamuzi ya kutoka Kings yalikuwa yetu binafsi hatukushauriwa na mtu yoyote sisi ni watu wazima tuliamua mwenyewe na hata biashara hakuna mtu kati ni sisi na uongozi wa Konde na hakutupeleka mtu Konde Gang."

(The decision to leave Alikiba's label was made by ourselves. No one ever advised us to leave because we are adults and when we went to Harmonize we took ourselves there)

Asked how much Harmonize had invested in them, Killy laughed.

"How much they invested laughed. They invested what they wanted to invest until I left. They obviously got profit because it is business at the end of the day, there are digital platforms and remember the songs were a hit."

While announcing their exit last year, Harmonize through his record label announced that he and the artistes reached an amicable agreement to terminate the contract.

"For that reason, these artistes will be free to work and make a contract with any company or individual. We believe they are talented young men who have the potential of making it in the music industry," read the statement

Adding "However, Konde Music will not be responsible for anything involving the said artiste from the said date (10/10/2022)"

The label then thanked the artistes for working with them "We'd like to thank Killy and Cheed for their cooperation in the period we've been together and we wish them all the best in their future endeveours."

Before being signed by Harmonize, Killy, and Cheed had been signed by Alikiba. In their exit message from Kiba's label, the duo shared a similar message on both their social media;

“I’d like to inform my fans that I am no longer part of King’s music records. I have made this decision by myself. "

"Ali Kiba has been one of the most important people in my life who has shown me the direction of my music career. May God protect him for what he has done and I thank him and will never cease to thank him."

"I love you Ali Kiba my brother and you know it. I thank you for your understanding as your younger brother and I need your blessings and I’d also like you to pray for me as long as I know we’ve parted ways well without bad blood neither have we ever argued.”

Responding to the two artiste exiting his label, Kiba said he was caught by surprise.

"I was surprised. Kings Music is like a school, if you feel you are content, you can go. They came to me at night when I was already asleep at around 1 AM, when they called, I was shocked. I had to wake up, I went to listen to them and they said they were exiting."

"The conversation took like 5 minutes. I was tired and sleepy."

Kiba said he didn't even listen to the reason why they decided to leave.
