In the past Nana, who is a mother of two disclosed that she walked around with a dead fetus for 5 weeks.

Nana suffered a miscarriage in 2014.

She shared symptoms pregnant women should look out for and the different treatment available.

She also advised women to always visit a gynaecologist to monitor the pregnancy.

As soon as you find out you are pregnant, get you a gynae if you can. if not, then just start clinic so they can check on your progress and the baby’s and put you (the expectant mother) on supplements.

The courageous mother went ahead to share her experience after she suffered a miscarriage, saying she was traumatised and heartbroken.

"After waking up from surgery, I was completely traumatized. I was grief-stricken and angry. I blamed myself, I blamed my fiance and I blamed the world.

My relationship cracked in more places than I would have wanted. Thank fully we worked through."

She continued,

"My recovery took months, both physically and emotionally. Physically, I gradually started to get stronger thanks to support from my fiance and family.

More often than not, you are expected to move on and carry on like nothing happened to you because well- maybe because they feel like you hadn't met the baby as if it makes you feel better.

You feel misunderstood."
