Residents of Kasarani in Nairobi county were stunned after a boda boda man in the area killed his wife at night and then woke up his daughter to see what he did to her mother.
According to a report aired by Kameme TV, the man, a Boda Boda waiter, killed his wife by stabbing her several times before also trying to commit suicide but was unsuccessful.
A neighbor who spoke to journalists said that the killer woke up his daughter who had just finished form four and was in the living room and told her to go and see that he had killed their mother.
"He told his daughter 'wake up and see what I have done to your mother' when the daughter saw her father with a knife covered in blood she begged him not to harm her, she went to the room and found her mother already dead and beside her was her younger sister and she took her," the neighbor told Kameme TV .
The man then tried to kill himself, but the brave girl managed to send a message to her mother's friends, who caused panic.
As the man tried to harm himself, the police arrived just in time to stop him. They also took the body.
A video shared from the incident showed a little girl crying a lot while calling her dead mother's name.
