Unknown men came with the deceased whom they said was sick

Crime Scene.

Cops are investigating an incident in which a body of a man was dumped outside a clinic in the border town of Namanga, Kajiado county.

Guards at the clinic near the Kenya-Tanzania border said unknown men came with the victim whom they said was sick and dumped him at the entrance and left for Tanzania on March 14 at night.

The guards called the nurses on duty who arrived there and realised the victim identified as Tonkei Mangalol was already dead.

Police were called to the scene and took the body to a local mortuary.

A team is investigating the matter and plans to seek the assistance of their Tanzanian counterparts to establish the circumstances surrounding the death of the 33-year-old.

A postmortem exercise was planned on the body to establish how he died.

Elsewhere in Nyahururu, Laikipia County, a man was sodomised and killed in a bizarre incident.

The half-naked body of the man was found abandoned in a bushy piece of land in the town with his head covered with a sack.

Police said they visited the scene and found the body with a deep cut in the forehead.

The officers also realised the victim had been sodomised before being killed.

The motive of the incident is yet to be known. The body was moved to the mortuary pending identification and autopsy, police said.
