Diamond Platnumz has spoken about the late artist Costa Titch from South Africa who died last weekend while on stage doing what he loved to do all the time - performing.
Diamond has spoken extensively about why he decided to mourn Titch in a unique way by using one of his photos as his identity on his Instagram page, how he received news of his death, and other internal details that many did not know.
The artist, the boss of WCB, in an exclusive interview that aired on The Switch, looked helpless while saying that at one time he felt that he would be the first to die before the strong man who collaborated on the hit 'Superstar'.
"It's really sad but the big lesson is that we all belong to God and to him we will return so let's do our best with the environment.
At first, when I was told, I just knew I was going to fall down, on the stage like other artists. However, it shows that God can take us at any time..." Diamond said.
The artist said that he learned a great lesson that he should make good friendships with people close to him, vowing to ensure that he will end the enmity between him and his many musical enemies.
Diamond said that in his mind, he knew he would die before Costa due to the fact that he is more than five years older than him.
"To change my picture and put his picture, that means this tragedy has touched me a lot. He was my junior and he respects and accepts me a lot.
The last time I talked to him about the death of AKA was the other day, suddenly I was told that the very young one has died because he is 28 years old. I beat him by more than 5 years if you go to 6. Humanly, I was thinking that I will go before me and then he will follow him because he was born before me too.." Platnumz spoke sadly.
Platnumz said Costa was the face of Amapiano music and the first person who told him his information was his producer S2Kizzy and he didn't believe it until he called his family and heard they were crying too.
