Gospel minister Kambua has opened up about losing her son. The mother of three welcomed her secondborn, Malachi on 12th February 2021. He was buried on Valentine's day of the same year.

Speaking on her Instagram, the 'Ametenda Mema' hitmaker said the month of February has been a special month for her.

"I had a special boy that God gave to me, he landed on the 12th of February and he went to be with The Lord. We laid him to rest on the 14th of February."

Kambua went on to say that she had been clouded with pain and hopelessness but God came through for her.

"He continues to heal my heart. I now look back and see a woman who was broken being blessed beyond measure. A woman who was called a barren woman to have three amazing children, one who is in heaven with the Lord and two are with us."

Kambua looks back beyond the brokenness and sees blessings.

"I don't know what they called you- what they labelled you as...BROKE. DIVORCED. UNMARRIED. THE SICKLY ONE. They called me BARREN. But God looked at me and saw me WHOLE. COMPLETE. Lacking nothing. And when I settled this truth within myself, He opened my womb and changed my story. May this be the year that God changes your story? But rest assured that he will not only do what you ask of him, but he will also do more. Much, much more!"

The singer recently welcomed her third born, a baby girl, Nathalie.
