Citizen TV Political Editor Francis Gachuri has quit the station.

Gachuri has allegedly been appointed as the spokesperson in the ministry of interior and national Administration according to a social media user identified as Mosoku Geoffrey.

Gachuri has been hosting Kiririmbi a political debate on Inooro TV as well as reporting for Citizen TV.

Gachuri, a seasoned political reporter was part of the TV station’s weekly political analysis show dubbed News Gang.

In his new role, Gachuri will be the one creating, delivering and evaluating communication activities that lead to the effective positioning and promotion of trust within the Ministry. 

He will also manage all internal and external communications channels within the Ministry of Interior and National Coordination.
