I was put in the mortuary for 20 minutes - Kenyan man narrates

The caller said he was involved in an accident where seven people lost their lives

A Kenyan man narrated to Maina and King'ang'i in the morning about his ordeal when he had been pronounced dead.

The caller was reacting to Maina's question on why people become insensitive and share fake news about other people's death.

The caller said he was involved in an accident where seven people lost their lives. He was also put in the mortuary with their bodies.

"I was put into the mortuary for 20 minutes. The only thing that saved me was because there was no electricity in Naivasha otherwise I would have frozen to death."

"The only thing that saved me was because they saw my body was bleeding and a dead body doesn't bleed."

His narration comes just a day after the family of former Vice President Moody Awori shut down the fake news that was circulating on social media that he was dead.

"Moody Awori is well and fine, wacheni kuua watu," said Maina Kageni

King'ang'i added, "Imagine he is just at his house chilling and then he reads such news?"
