'I have a wedding MC but lack the groom!' Zuchu moans

This comes hot on the heels of the news that she and Chibu might not be together anymore

Queen of Bongofleva Zuhura Othman aka Zuchu has insisted that she is not dating anyone at the moment.

In her latest post on Instagram, the singer with the voice to die for made it clear that she still hasn't found someone to remove her from the lonely life.

"I have found MC of my wedding, I am only missing the groom," she said. The daughter of the queen of the Taarab, Khadija Kopa, was recognizing the wedding officiant who played her new song 'Utaniua' for the bride and groom at a recent wedding ceremony.

Zuchu seemed to be interested in how well the wedding party played the song and urged others to follow the example.

"Utaniua kwa kweli ni wimbo mzuri kwa mchumba wako," she said. Last week, Zuchu raised concerns about her relationship status.

The 'Sukari' hit singer hinted that she was brokenhearted by her boyfriend and announced that she was single.

"Single.." she wrote and attached a broken heart emoji '💔' She also went on to delete all photos of her boss Diamond on Instagram.

Later, Diamond took to Instagram to confirm the separation from his signee In his statement.

He pointed out that he and the beautiful singer have remained brother and sister despite previously showing great love between each other.

"Together with Zuhura, we would like to inform you that, at the moment, we are sister and brother and not lovers as it was supposed or others know," he said.

On Tuesday, however, he showed great love for his artiste by buying her an expensive piece of jewellery.

Diamond was in London, England and was seen in a video holding a beautiful silver chain with a queen's head that he bought in a jewelry store in the city.

According to information on Wasafi's official page, he bought the sparkling chain specially for Zuchu. "Simba has bought Zuchu a brand new piece of jewelry in London," the statement read.

Their song 'Mtasubiri' which criticizes those who hate their relationship was attached to the video.
