Gospel artist Kambua has advised people to stop castigating couple who delay/don't get kids.

Kambua says if it was easy every one would be a mother. The celebrated artiste welcomed her first child 7 years after her marriage.

This earned her names with some assuming she was barren.

Speaking on the lessons she has learned on waiting during an interview with Grace Msalame, Kambua shared

"I learned how to wait and wait gracefully.

You can wait and be bitter, angry or anxious.

I knew I had my timelines by the time I am 30 I wanted to be taking care of my babies but here I am almost hitting 40 and having small babies.

If we could manufacture children we could all do it but it's up to God." She joked

Kambua says she was unsure on whether she would be a mother or not.

"Those were years of God working on me as a person. I did not know if the out come would be.

I did not know  if we would ever have kids but we did and I am thankful. My kids are just a plus to the relationship I have with God."

In conclusion she says

"I am enjoying motherhood, even the chaotic moments. It is well worth it.

My kids are the biggest blessing God gave me and I don't think anything will ever surpass that."
