Esther Musila, the wife of the gospel artist Guardian Angel has strongly criticized comedian Eric Omondi for accusing gospel artists in this country of not composing good music anymore.

Last weekend, Omondi made a video mentioning some artists who were once popular in the gospel industry like Bahati, DK Kwenye Beat, and Willy Paul but had lost their way since they got into world things.

He singled out Guardian Angel saying that he had stopped producing good music after he got married.

Musila was unhappy with Omondi's remarks and through her Instastories, gave us a strong response, calling him a lazy person who likes causing issues.

Musila called Omondi a 'busybody' saying that those type of people are idle and not minding their own business.

She even went on to quote a Bible scripture.

"The scriptures say that lazy people are those who walk around looking for bad things in others, mostly to find something to talk about or to create gossip among their peers to look good," Musila said.

Although she did not mention Eric Omondi directly, most smart people can be able to read between the lines with the barb most likely aimed at the self-described president of African comedy.

The comedian had said in a video that several gospel musicians had allegedly killed the industry because of controversy.

Among those he mentioned were singer Daddy Owen, Mercy Masika, Gloria Muliro, and Eunice Njeri among others, asking why they no longer produce music like a few years ago.

"The gospel industry was the identity of Kenyan music, but we lost our touch with God and the church has let down Kenyans," he said.

He further said that most of the artistes who won great awards years ago had turned the industry into Sodom and Gomorrah.

"The gospel industry has failed us. Willy Paul, and DK Kwenye Beat Ringtone are just fornicating. They have more scandals than the secular industry," he alleged.

Eric also shaded Bahati claiming he was irrelevant in the industry and only clings to his wife's YouTube channel.

He mentioned gospel singer Mr. Seed who was also accused of being a deadbeat by one of his baby mamas.

"The most immoral people in Kenya are former gospel artistes. Return to God! You've turned Kenyan into Sodom and Gomorrah."
