The Supreme court has ruled that cohabiting for whatever period does not make you married.

Classic 105 presenters Maina and King'ang'i dived into the topic asking what Kenyans thought about the decision.

Maina asked women where that decision leaves them.

"Ladies, when he comes home to a hot meal and you sort him in the bedroom, isn't that contribution? " He asked

Adding

" It doesn't matter how long you cohabit. The law will not recognize it as a marriage. How long have you cohabited with that man?"

He went on to ask why women stay in marriages where they are not legally married.

King'ang'i says men need time to make that life decision.

"A man's heart has to settle. His heart has to be at peace. You can't force him to marry."

A caller said

" Kulingana na vile kunaenda tutawekewa steel wire kwa chakula. Kayamba kwa Koome, aishi miaka mingi!"

Another caller added

"Even if I did not contribute a single cent, I was in the house taking care of his children, preparing him for work!"
