Before I die - Diamond manager's wish for Alikiba

Mkubwa Fella, a legendary Tanzanian music mogul who is part of Diamond Platnumz's management says he wishes for a collaboration between his artiste and Kings Music artiste Alikiba.

While making a statement about the music industry, Fella said;

"Before I die, I want to see their collabo, so that we can weaken the ones trying to bring beef between the two. Because we don't know where their beef started from. How do you start having teams against each other."

Diamond and Alikiba have been long-term rivals as their fans have also split into teams. Diamond (Simba) and Alikiba (King) have all hailed themselves as the leaders of the Bongo Flava music. 

Late last year, their beef was still blazing after Diamond's other managers Sallam and Babu Tale gave rankings of who they thought was the best Tanzanian artiste.

Sallam rated Diamond Platnumz as the top artiste of the year 2022 while Alikiba managed to get himself a number seven on his list.

Babu Tale on the other hand didn't feel that Alikiba deserved to get into his top ten as he rated Diamond the top artiste, Harmonize was at number seven on Tale's list.

Responding to them, Alikiba said he knew the two wanted him to speak so that he would promote Diamond's upcoming show (then).

"I think mmeshajulika kama nilazima mchokenolewe, Ndio mfunction ,ili jambo lenu liende .Nilitamani kumwambia Njomba kimbulu asiwachokunoe maana mtakua mmekamilisha malengo yenu kwabahati mbaya Njomba Hajawagundua ila mimi nawajua vizuri for your ," he wrote on Instagram.

(I think people already know that you need to be spoken about so that your event is a success. I wanted to tell (Harmonize) not to speak about you because you'd have achieved your goal when he does that but it seems he (Harmonize) doesn't know you yet, but for me, I know you very well)

He added that he was going to speak right after Diamond's end-year show as he wished him success in the show.

(I am not troubled because I know what I'm writing will help you push your event because I am your King. Don't say I'm the king from the jungle because it is you (Simba) who is. You've sat down to rank artistes, who are you? I will speak after your event is over. I think I have pushed your event, have a nice show)
