Karim Mandonga gifted new car after victory in Kenya

Tanzanian boxer Karim Mandonga is a happy man after being gifted a new car upon landing in Tanzania, from Nairobi, Kenya.

Mandonga was given the new car by Tanzanian businessman DickSound following his victory over Daniel Wanyonyi at KICC over the weekend.

The businessman had promised the boxer a car only if he defeats Wanyonyi in Nairobi.

“Nimempa kama zawadi siyo kwa ajili ya Ubalozi, alikuja kwangu wakati anaenda kupambana nikamuahidi akishinda nitaweza kumpa gari, wakati akiwa Kenya nikaona video nikamtumia kumwambia umeniangusha ushapigwa, akasema hapana sio kweli Mimi ndio napanda kupambana, hivyo leo tumemkabidhi kumpongeza na kutimiza ahadi” the businessman said.

Upon receiving the car gift Mandonga said;

 “Namshukuru sana DickSound Kwa hili leo ndoto yangu imetimia, Mandonga anaondoka na usafiri Mungu mkubwa”.

A thankful Mandonga went on to reveal that he had plans to own a car but never knew his dream will be actualized too soon.

“Hii kwangu n kubwa sana nilikuwa na mawazo ya kumiliki usafiri wangu lakin Leo umeweza kunikamilishia Moja Kati ya ndoto zangu @dicksoundmall anae toa kila siku mungu nae humpa kila siku shukran kubwa sana kaka ALLAH akuzidishie zaidi boss wangu,”.

Karim Madonga Vs Daniel Wanyonyi

On January 15, Karim Madonga, alias Mtu Kazi, decimated his Kenyan counterpart Daniel Wanyonyi in a super-middleweight bout held at KICC, Nairobi.

Mandonga lived up to his hype of the show after technically knocking out Wanyonyi in the fifth round of the show after Wanyonyi declined to get back to the ring for the next round handing Mandonga victory.

Speaking after the match, Mandonga defended his hype for the match saying it is key in making the game lively.

He said he will back to Kenya for another fight promising to floor the opponent again.

“Mdomo ni ya kupiga promo, nikiingia ulingo iko nafasi ya ngumi,” Mandonga said.

“Narudi tena Nairobi, Kenya hii Aprili ‘kumzika mtu’, raundi ya kwanza kaburi lake liko wapi? Muwekeni pale! Nitakuja na ngumi nyingine, sio Sugunyo tena.”
