Diamond Platnumz makes history as hits 2 Billion views on YouTube

Award-winning star Diamond Platnumz has become the 1st musician in Sub-Saharan Africa to accumulate over 2 Billion Views on YouTube.

The WCB president has achieved a new milestone after joining the streaming platform in June 2011.

“Lion 🦁 @diamondplatnumz has surpassed 2 Billion total Views on YouTube. 🥇 #DiamondPlatnumz Still Is the first Sub-Saharan African Artist to reach this milestone.🙌 2,000,000,000 Total Views @YouTube.

Other African stars with huge YouTube numbers include; Burna Boy (1.7 Billion views), Wizkid (1.5 Billion views), Fally Ipupa (1.2 Billion views), and Davido (1.2 Billion views). 

Platnumz who enjoys over 7.16 million subscribers has so far uploaded 1000 videos on his Channel. 

Apart from his music videos, the WCB President also tends to post behind the scene clips of his videos, and his shows, both local and International.

The Sikomi hitmaker is one of the big artistes in Africa known for his exceptional work that has gained him recognition internationally and everything he touches turns out to be gold.

On Instagram, Simba also enjoys a following of over 15 million people.
