Major League Djs set for Kenyan concert

Their comeback into the country is exactly a year after their last Kenyan performance

South African duo, Major League DJz are coming to Kenya on the 24th of December 2022 for a live concert dubbed Double Revolution, at The Winning Post, Ngong Racecourse.

Born in Boston USA but relocated to South Africa after the apartheid era, the 31-year-old twin duo, real names Bandile and Banele Mbere, have been in the music scene for a while now.

They are said to have revolutionized Kwaito music, constantly pushing the new age kwaito sound. Their songs and mixes reverberate with a demographic comprising different ages proving just how evolving their music is.

From playing the piano as youngsters to deejaying and music production after high school, the amapiano duo has performed in many events and popular clubs both within and outside South Africa.

They have performed alongside numerous South African and international artists such as Burna Boy, collaborated with Doja Cat, Tiwa Savage, DJ Maphorisa, and Major Lazer, and hosted parties for known artists like 50 Cent, Akon, and Fat Joe. DJ Fresh, Euphonik, Roger Goode, DJ Trauma, DJ Drama, and DJ Woo Kid. During past Kenyan concerts, they have featured DJ Grauchi, DJ Katta, DJ Shinski, DJ Malaika, and others.

Their Kenyan comeback is exactly a year after their last Kenyan performance as Major League DJz.
