Musicians who will entertain Kenyans at Jamhuri Day celebrations

The Permanent Presidential Music Commission has unveiled a list of musicians who will entertain Kenyans purposing to attend the 59th Jamhuri Day celebrations. 

This year’s celebrations will be held at Nyayo stadium – Presided over by President William Ruto.

Kenya will mark the 59th Jamhuri Day on Monday next week themed Connect, Innovate, Inspire with technology and digital economy as the main focus.

Last week, the government announced that it will offer free technology scholarships for adults who will attend this year's Jamhuri Day celebrations at Nyayo Stadium.

Interior PS Raymond Omollo said the certificate course scholarships will be open for eligible adults who will attend the celebrations in person.

"The National Celebrations Committee led by PS Omollo has announced free technology scholarships for certification courses for any eligible adult attending the celebrations in person at the Nyayo Stadium on Monday," the Interior ministry said in a statement.
