Femi One named Best Female rapper in Africa, King Kaka reacts

Kaka Empire CEO King Kaka has congratulated Femi One after winning the award for Best Female rapper at AFRIMMA Awards.

Kenyan rapper Femi One has penned a message of appreciation to her fans after being named the Best Rapper in Africa for the year 2022.

An excited Femi One said that the win is a big boost to her music career and at the same time an encouragement to work even harder.

"WE WON!!! Best Female Rapper In Africa. The first East African Female rapper to take it home, it’s such a big pat on the back for my team and I for all the work we’ve put in throughout the years. "Truly consistency, teamwork, patience pays !!

“This should be an encouragement for all the up-and-coming Female rappers! There is a spot for you in this industry, keep building, keep doing it, they are watching. Thank you all so much for the continued support." Femi One wrote.

The Gala for the awards went down over the weekend with three other East Africans also walking away with awards.

WCB Wasafi President Diamond Platnumz was crowned Best Live Act.

His signee Zuchu won the award for Best Female artiste in East Africa while Next Level Music CEO Rayvanny took home the award for Best male artiste in East Africa.
