Five lucky Kenyans who have had the luck of meeting Barrack Obama in person

Former US President Barrack Obama was in Kenya in a much anticipated visit to his home town Kogelo to foresee the opening of Sauti Kuu, founded by his sister Auma Obama.

The organization ‘Sauti Kuu Foundation’ is a non-profit organisation that helps orphans and other young people struggling with poverty in Kogelo.

It is not easy to get close to him given the magnitude of his security detail but here are Kenyans who have had the luck and grace of meeting the powerful man.

The witty comedian was the lucky man emceeing the Sauti Kuu event something that is worth celebrating as not many people get this chance.

The artiste interacted with the former POTUS as he performed in Kogelo during the official launch of Sauti Kuu.

Grandfather to TV presenter Willis Raburu was among the few Kenyans with the privilege of welcoming Obama.

Being the Luo council of Elders Chair Willis Edwin Opiyo Otondi was delegated to be part of the team that received the former president. Wasn’t he lucky?

5.Sauti Sol

The four member band was among the few lucky Kenyans to not only meet Obama while he was President but they had him dancing to their song.

Obama left many applauding after dancing to ‘Sura Yako’ together with our President Uhuru Kenyatta and Auma Obama.
