She and husband Tim Witherspoon are currently the parents of an only child.
But that doesn’t mean Kelly Rowland isn’t paying attention to her friends’ growing families, as she revealed to Us Weekly on Friday.
The 36-year-old Motivation songstress was clearly quite excited about close friend Beyonce’s recent welcoming of twins Rumi and Sir Carter.
‘Everybody has babies or are having babies,’ she told the publication, ‘it’s a really cool time in our lives as friends and growing up together.’
When asked specifically if she felt the need to offer up advice to her longtime friend and former Destiny’s Child member, she dismissed it out of hand.
‘No one needs’ parenting advice, including the Carters,’ she said, adding ‘all my girls are very smart.’
She then explained how all of the parents share knowledge and parenting tips.
‘They gave me great advice and we flip flop. All of us flip flop on advice, so nothing in particular.’
In terms of her own family, Kelly has been enjoying all of two-year-old son Titan’s many milestones.
‘We do everything together! We go to the park. He’s learning to swim. He’s just awesome. I’m having a good time with him.’
Beyonce has been having a great time with her own family, including taking daughter Blue Ivy, aged five, to a Kendrick Lamar concert recently.
A video posted to Queen Bey’s Instagram feed shows the 20-time-Grammy-winner’s eldest daughter bouncing along to the beat.
