Through the power of the internet Katy Perry was able to give a private concert to an eight year old cancer-stricken fan as she recovers from brain cancer.
The American pop star, 33, has shared an emotional video of her day with eight-year-old little girl Grace at her home in Adelaide.
The Footage posted on the Teenage Dream singer’s official Facebook on Friday, shows her meeting Grace’s family, embracing the youngster and getting a tour of Grace’s bedroom.
Katy and her two guitarists delighted the young girl and her family with a private acoustic concert of her hit songs, including Firework.
Grace was unable to attend the Roar songstress’ Adelaide concert following her recent brain surgery to remove 6cm tumour.
Tiana, her older sister, took to Twitter to send out a plea for Katy to meet with her sick sibling last week, which was re-Tweeted more than 20,000 times.She wrote
‘My baby sister is meant to attend @katyperry concert in Adelaide this year but was diagnosed with a 6cm Brain tumour and has been battling all year, grace has love been Katy’s biggest fan since she was 3, please help us try and get in contact,’
The Roar songstress also shared a video of Grace to her Instagram Story during her visit, showing the little girl beaming with delight as her idol shared uninterrupted time with her.

Following the private meeting, Tiana took to Twitter to thank Katy.
GUYS WE DID IT! @katyperry just visited grace! She’s truely (sic) amazing and such a sweet person this was truely (sic) amazing!’ she wrote.
Katy has 10 concerts left in her Australian and New Zealand leg of the Witness world tour.
