Kambua Mandundu, commonly known by her first name Kambua, has had a week to forget in terms of audience response. The celebrated Citizen TV presenter and gospel singer has been criticized by the public for what some term as ungraceful conduct towards her fellow Citizen T.V hosts.
What did she do exactly? As reported by a cross-section of the Kenyan media earlier, Kambua unceremoniously grabbed a mic from Inooro TV’s Jeff Kuria, who was her co-emcee at the Royal Media Services’ Vuka Mwaka Party held at the Afraha Stadium in Nakuru.
Kambua also rubbed the audience and the public the wrong way after failing to give equal airtime to her co-hosts Jeff Kuria, Enid Moraa and David Oyuke. They are all employees of Royal Media Services.
As you would expect her lack of etiquette was taken as an affront and she was publicly trolled on social media for it by Kenyans, as shown in the examples below:

lucittawan I like you and I know you inspire many people like myself but only a blind person who won’t notice what you did yesterday we love you but you did wrong to Jeff that’s not your character you should apologize.
Heeding the call, she took to social media and apologized for her shortcomings during the event. The comely beauty said:
“ Well, we are finally back in Nairobi. And yes, I have seen and read all (or most) of your comments. With all the stones being flung my way, I will in no way try to explain anything. So allow me to say this specifically to Jeff Kuria (my colleague at Inooro), and his fans as a whole. For all that may/may not have happened yesterday, I apologise. I’d hate to start this year with any bad blood. I value all of you, even the criticism (good and bad). Happy New Year. K.”
However, Kambua pulled down the post minutes later, probably due to the pressure mounted on her by irate Kenyans.
