Jeff told the host;

This past weekend actually. On Saturday me, my mother and my sister were having lunch. And I told them, listen give me an hour. I have to go see Bob. A group of us, it was about 5 of us, we had known that this was coming. Bob had informed us. So we knew that he wasn’t going to last very long.

He added;

He had been told by his doctors not to make any long term plans. In fact, he was told that if he makes it past July he will be lucky. He knew.
