One way to gift a girl in your life is by buying a copy of My First Time, available inTextBookCentrestores in Nairobi…

In 2019, Janet opened up about her agonising experience with painful periods and the medication that she still has to take to date to deal with pain.

Janets long battle with endometriosis saw her not go to work and miss school days as it was unbearable.

She wrote a long post alert on social media saying that she had extremely painful menses but getting a diagnosis was such a relief.

Also, Janet last year revealed that she had petitioned Parliament to improve on the Menstrual Health Management Policy in Kenya to ensure all women in Kenya are receiving adequate MHM services.

In a statement Janet said,

“Every day, women and girls who lack the income and access to afford sanitary products face significant barriers, including insufficient education about MHM and inadequate access to quality, low-cost products.”

Responding to fans congratulatory messages on the book launch, Janet said

look forward to keeping the conversation alive. It’s so necessary!
