Betty Kyallo interviewed Pokot Governor John Lonyangapuo this past week on her show ‘Up Close With Betty’.
From the tidbits, she has been posting on her Instagram page, we can see that the interview will be really fascinating.
One of the things she showed off to her followers was the Governor’s survival tactics in ushago in a clip she shared on her Instagram. In the clip, the governor shows the bubbly journalist how to pass through a barbed-wire fence, explaining to her;
You have to take care you don’t hit the wire.
When it is Betty’s turn, the county head advises for her to make her way slowly to which the journalist obliges.
She carefully makes her way through leading with one leg and finally, the rest of her body makes it through the space.
Victorious and on the other side, Betty exclaims, “You see I’m flexible, I made it though.” Her visit in Pokot was eventful and just like Kirinyaga governor Anne Mumbi Minji Minji, TV personality Betty Kyallo has a new name.
Earlier this week, she revealed that she had been given to her by West Pokot Governor John Lonyangapuo. She wrote;
My new Pokot name Asis Sotin Cheporwala (Sun) given by the people and the good Governor John Lonyangapuo. Good morning.
The name means the sun and that makes sense because you will rarely ever see her in a foul mood. Betty has clearly enjoyed interviewing the governor and described him as a lovely guest, saying;
For real, he is hilarious! Such an amazing leader. Enjoying the shoot. You guys will love it!
