Eunice Njeri walked out of her hubby, Izzo, 24 hours after saying ‘I do’ at the altar.
“On the 27th Nov 2016, Isaac and I did go to the altar to get married, but at the end of that day, I realised one thing that I couldn’t do it because my heart was somewhere else – probably in Africa doing what I do best, I am still trying to figure that out. I immediately left for Kenya and have been serving God the best way I know how. To all who supported Isaac and myself, I am grateful and may God bless you immensely. To all who were hurt in the process, I apologise.
The marriage was annulled (like it never happened). No papers were signed. Afterwards, we both made a decision to go our separate ways. I hope for your support and help as we move on. Like every other relationship, we hit a rock, maybe a little too early, but have since overcome. Consequently, we have decided to go our separate ways and hope for the very best. God bless you,” wrote Eunice Njeri dropping the bomb on her fans.
Izzo kept mum through out the media blizzard that followed this revelation. He posted a coded message on his social media saying
“WANA SEMANGA “MWENYE NGUVU MPISHE”. NO ONE WILL BELIEVE WHAT I HAVE TO SAY. BUT I AM SURE MY HEAVENLY FATHER KNOWS EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED AND WILL DEFINITELY RESTORE EVERYTHING THAT IS BEING TAKEN AWAY FROM ME.”
Now, over two year later, Eunice has opened up about her marriage.
“The hardest thing about starting over is actually starting over… there is a reason why the sun goes down and comes back up the next day. It is a sure sign of a new beginning. Praise God for those who stay to see you through…” she said.
“Praise God for those who leave, they were not meant to be there for this next season in your life….lay all your burdens down, give up all you have for what God has. Let people talk it simply means you are very important… #seeYouAtTheTop.”
Izzo has responded.
Izzo’s post read: “The past is a place of reference, not a place of residence.”
And now, Eunice has shot back.
“Sisemi kitu!!! It’s never that serious…”
