How to move on from a painful breakup

We’ve all been there, waiting for answers that never came and wasting precious time trying to get closure from an ex who just wasn’t willing to give it.

There are things we can do to give us the will to just get over that ex.

1. Play it cool
From the moment he tells you it’s over, we tend to spend time racking our brains, over analyzing and explaining to everyone you ever met what went wrong.

Instead of jumping straight to the trash talk about how he wasn’t good in bed, try keeping mum on the subject.
2. Admit liability in the breakup
We tend to either blame the entirely on him, and going over how he hurt you with no end in sight. Yes we all vent, but remember it takes two to tango, and it also takes two to spoil things. So take ownership of the faults.
3. Don’t play the victim
Women always tend to be helpless and wounded in movies and it’s seemingly no different when it comes to relationships.

Be strong and positive.

4. Work on being a better you
One of the worst mistakes we make after a bad breakup is laying around in misery, in pajamas, watching love movies and cryign all day.

Treat yourself to a manicure or some new highlights. Living well really is the best revenge.

5. Refocus your life
This step is the hardest because it forces us to admit the relationship is completely over.
Sit down and make a new list of priorities minus him in your life.

Surround yourself with love and flourish sis.
