Game of Thrones cast bid fans final goodbye at Emmy’s 2019



The cast of the HBO series Game of Thrones walked the purple carpet for the last time in Los Angeles Sunday night.

It was an emotional moment for the Game of Thrones cast as they took the stage for one last time after eight seasons to a standing ovation at the Primetime Emmy Awards, sharing kind words to fans about how they felt.

Although Lena Headey, Sophie Turner, Gwendoline Christie and Maisie Williams were nominated in the Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series category, but didn’t win.

The show is the most nominated series at the Emmys this year – 32 – and bagged the prestigious best drama prize.
