2020 will go down as one of the toughest years that Willis Raburu has faced. And not because of Covid-19. The Citizen TV anchor was faced with one of the toughest challenges a person can ever face-losing a child.
Willis and his wife, Maryaprude lost their baby girl Adana on the first day of 2020, a child that held the hopes and dreams of the couple that had been married for a couple of years.
The results of the loss have been severe with the couple separating a few months later. While there has been unfounded speculation that Willis caused the split with alleged cheating, the root of the couple’s problems is most likely the loss of what would have been their first child.
And that wound is not yet closed for Willis as the media personality is still grieving for his late child. Recently, the 10 over 10 host wrote a tweet in dedication to her.
“Please just tell me you’re alright. are you way up in the sky?” Laughing, smiling, looking down. Fathers and daughters, never say goodbye.”
He finished off his message with a heartbreaking emoji.
