The Kenyan entertainment fraternity has lost another comedian. Churchill Show comedian Joseph Musyoki Kivindu popularly known as Kasee is dead.
The comedian is said to have died yesterday with the cause of his death yet to be made public. The news was made public by Churchill Ndambuki who condoled with the family of the deceased.
“A really sad way to end the week.it is a bitter pill to swallow but then we cannot question God’s plans.. My deepest condolences to the family & friends of Kasee..May your hearts find peace from the almighty. #safirisalamakasee Meanwhile I’ve received sad news that comedian Kasee is no more..So sad” reads Mwalimu Churchill’s post.
The comedian was joined in condoling with the deceased’s family by Churchill show communication director and Chairman of Comedians society in Kenya, Ken Waudo also mourning Kasee.
“News reaching me now is that we have lost Joseph Musyoki Kivindu otherwise known as comedian Kasee this evening, his body is still at Nginduri, Kinoo awaiting transfer to the mortuary …more to follow,” Waudo wrote.
This sad news barely comes a year after another Churchill show comedian died in mysterious circumstances. Anthony Njenga aka Njenga Mswahili was found dead on Thursday, November 7, in Ndonyo Market, Dagoretti South, after allegedly being hit by a train.
The late Mswahili first appeared in the show in 2013 and lately on an on-and-off basis.
Although the exact cause of his death was not immediately established, Comedian Eric Omondi said he was going through a rough patch and suffered from depression.
