‘I cried for a whole day after finding out I was pregnant,’ Abel Mutua’s wife reminisces

Judith Mutua, wife to Mkurugenzi Abel Mutua has revealed she cried for a day after she found out she was pregnant.

At the time she was still on campus, speaking during an interview with SPM Buzz, the mother on one shared

“I got pregnant during my 3rd year on campus, I was 22 years old at the time.

I knew nothing about life.
When I took the pregnancy test and it turned positive I cried the entire day.
She is now almost turning 13. God and life have taught me how to be a good parent.”

Abel had at the time finished classes. When told by Judy that she was pregnant he was ready to be a dad

“When I joined 1st year Abel was in the fourth year.
I found out I was pregnant over the April holiday and he told me that whatever I wanted he would support me.

I was worried about what my mum would say, my dad, is deceased.
Being a second born and seeing how my mum struggled to get me bursaries worried me.
I was disappointed in myself for taking a child home instead of a degree.”

Judy says she only survived that period because Abel was very supportive.

At the time he was acting at Tahidi High.

“I gave birth in January 2010, I studied till December 2019.

Judy says people should stop asking people when
“It’s a personal decision, we are OK with one child. It’s not like we cannot get another baby.
Looking back now getting pregnant at that time was the best thing I ever did.
I feel I am done with parenting.”

Why Abel Mutua’s wife Judy bought Wakavinye her wedding gown

Abel Mutua’s wife Judy Nyawira has opened up on why she gifted Wakavinye a wedding gown in 2016.

Speaking during an interview with SPM Buzzz, she says she did that out of the goodness of her heart.

“I took her to the same shop I bought my wedding gown.

we fit different clothes, and there is one particular dress that everybody loved.

But when she was told the price she couldn’t afford it.

I had purposed to buy that gown as my wedding gift to her. Even Abel did not know about it.

When we went to that shop I had planned to pay for the gown.

They were a young couple so we just wanted to support them.”

Judy says at that particular time I decided to tenda wema and kwenda zangu.

The deed was however repaid by Njuguna in 2018.

For 3 years they fed me, at the time I had resigned and I did not know what to do next.

Everything I am doing now and the scales I have climbed are because of Tim and Celestine.

They refused to work with other managers and decided to stick with me.”

Speaking during an interview with SPM Buzz in an earlier interview Wakavinye said she felt intimidated when she first met Judy.

This was because she was just a student at the time.

“Njugush first met Abel then later met Judy. Through Njugush I met Abel and Judy. When I first met them I was a bit scared because I was in college, Judy was a mother and she was a working-class woman. But she was very welcoming.”

Adding,

“When I asked her to be my best couple we had only been friends for a few months. She is very sweet and is always ready to help. She took me to a shop to choose my gown and I told her I couldn’t afford it.

She paid for the gown yet we had not known each other for less than two months. That is why Njugush calls her co-husband.

She told me to get what I want and leave the rest to her. She did not want me to refund the cash.”

Wakavinye said Abel Mutua and Phil Karanja have been very helpful in their lives.

“Abel has played a huge role in Njugush and I getting married. We were young and at the time we did not know why we were getting married. He advised Njugush to settle down before he blew up and girls started throwing themselves at him.”

Adding,

“Phil is like a big brother who we are accountable. He helped mould Njugush. They are friends I would never have trouble with them hanging out with Njugush.”

Maina Kageni offers help to ‘deserted’ woman during the Morning Show

We have in the past heard of men whose character changes once they start making good money.
Some demean women by bringing their side chicks into their matrimonial homes.

This is despite the fact their wives stood by them when they had nothing.

During the Morning Conversation, a woman confessed to Maina Kageni that her husband has been calling her a prostitute before the kids.

Below are some more confessions from women

*Fatuma says she was tortured emotionally, physically, and financially by her bae denying her support for their baby.

“I went back to my mother’s place after continuous madharau from my man.

I had gone back so that we could bring up our child together.

But for those 8 months we were together we were sleeping in different rooms.”
She says when he became abusive she chose to live

“It became physical forcing me to go back to my mum’s place.
For the 8 months, he never supported me or the baby.

Recently he called me to pay his Fuliza, yet I asked him for 500 cash which he refused.

But when visitors came he bought them alcohol.”

*Stella says her husband is never at home

“My husband was last at home 3 days ago, he comes picks his clothes and leaves the house.

I have three kids and he never leaves any cash. He started this behaviour when our marriage was 5 years old.

Currently, my youngest child is sick and I have no money, sometimes when you call him his other women pick.”

Maina offered to help the woman by sending her some cash

“Nitakutumia kitu ya kupatia watoto chakula na huyo mdogo umpeleke hospitali.
Why don’t you leave such a relationship? I will also get you some help to help get your mental health back on track.”

In a previous conversation, a woman had confessed to her husband bringing his side chick home despite her being pregnant.

She was made to sleep on the couch while the side chick slept on her bed.

“My daughter is turning 9 this month. I cannot imagine getting pregnant again. I went through a lot, When I was pregnant he brought another woman to our house I was forced to sleep on the couch.”

Carol says at some point the side chick also got pregnant, something that prompted her husband to bring woman no 3 into the equation.

By the time I was 7 months pregnant the side chick was 4 months pregnant.
When she got pregnant our man brought another side chick.”

Are they still together?

I am still with him, Where do you want me to go? Life is expensive. It will reach a point where I will bring another man into the house. When it’s time for a woman to revenge even the devil sits down to take notes.”

Govi of Machachari gives details of why he loves older women

Malik Lemny aka Govi is a former Machachari actor who made headlines when he came out to say that he prefers dating older women than he is.

The actor has now given details of what exactly he meant.

“Yes, Uh, yes, as long as we have chemistry. In my own life, I have dated older ladies from back then.”

Adding;

“Kenyan fans are interesting. Old means, someone or something that is overstayed. For me, I meant older. You could be a day older and that is what I meant,” he said.

“I am open to dating any woman but my preference is older, which women which could mean, one day older, two months  or even 50 years older.”

“Love is about two people. You cannot decide for anyone who to love. People have a mentality that I am still a kid they saw on Machachari and that they can dictate what I should do.”

He explained that the far he can go is four years older.

“I think that is the oldest that I have gone. That is my limit. Four years and below is my preference.”

Govi said he had been exposed to mature people when he was very young, something that contributed to his decision.

“If you grow up somewhere seeing older people behaving in a certain way, you might end up liking that and for my case,” he said.

“Being exposed to older people at a young age has made me want to date a woman older than me. Once in school, I pecked a classmate and she started crying, I was like why is she crying? It is normal.”

Sean Andrew, grandson to Late president Mwai Kibaki has no interest in having kids of his own. In a recent interview, the influencer cum model said that he loves kids but is better off as an uncle than a father.

“It is just a decision that came to me a long time. I think having children was not on my agenda. I think, I’ll leave a better legacy without children.”

Adding “I will be an awesome uncle, I like kids but I’ve never seen myself as a father.”

So, does he want to get married in the future?

“It is a commitment and a partnership so if I’m faced with that, I’d love to get married, I’d love to share my life with someone.”

“But I’m not looking for it, I mean, love should find you and you should build on it. “

On whether he has found love, Andrew said it comes once in a while but nothing stable.

Right now, not in a relationship. I’m enjoying my own time.”

He has been on dating apps before but has deactivated them as he is still mourning.

Nicola Traldi arraigned in court over Chantal Grazioli’s assault

Nicola Traldi was on Tuesday 21st, June 2022 arraigned before Kiambu Law Courts for allegedly causing grievous bodily harm on his Girlfriend Chantal Grazioli.

The news of his abuse was shared by Eric Omondi on his social

“Any man who puts his hands on a woman is a COWARD!!! Nicola Traldi is a Coward. He is Weak and Insecure. A man’s strength is fully shown when he PROTECTS a woman and not when he puts his hands on her.

This is UNACCEPTABLE and he will face the Full WRATH of the LAW!!! He will serve as an example to all those UNCOUTH, UNCIVILIZED, and PRIMITIVE men who physically assault women to feel they are STRONG!!! @miss.chanty”

https://www.instagram.com/p/Ce5y4DCj-hr/

Traldi reacted to the news by saying that he can never do such a thing as he is a father of two.

He added that his mother brought him up well and taught him to never lay his hands on a woman.

“I have been framed for something I would never do, unspeakable. It’s a sad day. I would never lay my hands on a lady, I am a father of 2 daughters,” he said.

“Everyone who knows me knows I am incapable of such a thing. My mum taught me well. The truth shall come out.”

Eric alleged that the abuse has been going on for months.

In a detailed post, Chantal had explained what transpired on the night she was beaten up.

“This is to bring to the public limelight that nicolatraldi came drunk, agitated, and broke into my house Friday 17th morning since I had refused to let him in as I didn’t want any confrontations with him while drunk.

He assaulted me badly and pushed me down the stairs as you saw from the video that was posted by @ericomondi. The photos posted as well are from previous assaults, it being not the 1st, the 2nd, the 3rd and unaccountable times that Nicola has assaulted and threatened me.”

Chantal says Nicola has been threatening and intimidating her for wanting to go to the media.

“On numerous occasions, he has asked me to shun away from the media which I did due to fear of being humiliated and assaulted.

I was afraid to come out but on Friday being the worst, I reached out to my mum to no avail, in the meantime my neighbors, security, and the caretaker came to my rescue.

I reached out to Eric who was able to come through and assisted me from there henceforth and also came out to the public on my behalf.

We followed all the protocols that were required from us by the police and hospital ( both private and public) but until now Nicola has not been arrested and he took my sim card, my phone, my car keys, and my house keys. “

The damsel added that Nicola was unreachable after putting his phone off

“While he was assaulting me, he threatened me that he would come back and do it again and there was nothing I would do because he knows the big people.

This puts my life in danger since I have no idea what he will do next. If he claims that he is being framed why can he not present himself at the police station, he is not reachable either.

It is traumatizing and not easy for me physically and emotionally, and neither is it not easy for any form of GBV victims irrespective of who is involved and especially those who cannot come out and speak about it. The majority are helplessly dying in silence.

It is very very sad GBV is not taken seriously in this country.”

‘I was jailed after being framed for rape’ – Stivo Simple Boy

Stivo Simple Boy has opened up about being framed for rape by a lady whose advances he had turned down. The incident saw him jailed for a week.

This he revealed during an interview with ‘Oga Obinna’ on the segment First Time. Stivo was living in Kibera back then.

“She told her mum that I tried to rape her and she became agitated and obviously wanted to know the truth.

So she got hold of me and took us to get tested to ascertain whether the allegations were true or false. The tests results proved that she was lying,” he narrated.

Stivo Simple Boy

The musician says despite it all the mom wasn’t satisfied and ensured he was jailed for an entire week.

His stay in prison was accompanied by beatings from his fellow inmates.

“I was jailed for a week. You get beaten inside there,” he said amid a burst of painful laughter.

That was not the only time he would get locked up.

While working as a security guard at a construction site Stivo was arrested after thieves made away with construction materials.

“My colleague had dozed off so I decided to do some rounds around the site. When I went to the washroom to relieve myself I came back and found some stuff (chuma) had been stolen.”

Adding,

The following day I went home to rest only for us to be asked to appear in court the following day to answer to sort out the issue but I thank God He saved me from those shackles.”

Stivo says the tables turned on his colleague for dozing off at work and he ended up being jailed for two years.

Have you ever been arrested before?

People who commit suicide are not selfish nor cowards-Nelius Mwaura

Mental health activist Nelius Mwaura has advised people to stop assuming people who commit suicide are selfish. She says such people fight internal battles every day.

The mother of three was reacting to a story in which a nurse in Gatundu committed suicide. Margaret Wamatu hanged herself and alleged that evil spirits had led her to end her life.

Nelius has in the past battled depression and thus she understands the struggle well.

“Do you know that feeling? When everything you do seems like a struggle. Where you don’t wanna leave the house because you know everyone is judging you? Where you cant even ask for directions in fear that they criticize you. Where everyone always seems to be picking out your flaws. That feeling where you feel so damn sick for no reason.”

Nelius says sometimes people with suicidal thoughts struggle with body image issues such as excess weight etc.

Do you know that feeling where you look in the mirror and completely hate what you see? When you grab handfuls and handfuls of fat and just want to cut it all off. That feeling when you see other beautiful girls and just wish you looked like them. When you compare yourself to everyone you meet. When you realize why no one ever showed interest in you. “
Adding,
“That feeling where you become so self-conscious you don’t even turn up at school.
That feeling when you feel so disappointed in who you are and everything you have become.
That feeling when every bite makes you wanna be sick. When hunger is more satisfying than food. The feeling of failure when you eat a meal.”

wife to politician Isaac Mwaura

The outspoken lady says people who commit suicide are not weak or selfish.

Do you know that feeling when you can’t run as far as your class? Fear knowing that everyone thinks of you as the”Unfit FAT BITCH” That feeling when you just wanna let it all out but you don’t wanna look weak.
The fear you have in class when you don’t understand something but your too afraid to ask for help. The feeling of being too ashamed to stand up for yourself.”

She says some of these struggles become worse when people ‘confirm’ the fears victims have.

In conclusion, she said,

“Do you know what it feels like to just want to give up? When do you just want all the pain to end but you want it to continue?

In a world where we can be anything, let’s be Kinder.”

Counselors, medics, and psychologists advise that you can always reach out for help when experiencing any mental health issues. Call Kenya Red Cross toll-free hotline, 1199 for support.

Speaking to Maina Kageni , some said their baby daddies abandoned them at a critical time in their life.

*Carol says she did not wish her dad nor her baby daddy a happy fathers day

“I never wished my dad a happy father’s day because he was not present.

I had to be the one to look for him because I use his name.

So how do you go wishing someone who doesn’t give a damn about you a happy day?”

Did she celebrate her baby daddy?

“I did not, why should I?

When you force things you feel like you have not moved on.

Why are people who got pissed because of not being wished a happy fathers day?

If you are useless you should do something to rectify that.”

*Shiro says she was abandoned at the hospital

“My baby daddy left me in the hospital because I delivered a disabled child.

He told me there are no disabled people in his family. My son is 18 years now and is in form 4.

He was born with one leg, so why should I wish such a man a happy fathers day?

Below are some more comments

Lovely Lorna: I celebrated my daughter’s stepfather because he has been here our baby girl loves him and knows only him…he will always be our dad.

Sam Gitau: Some ladies are wishing happy father’s days to themselves coz they are single mums..a woman cant play the role of a man paying bills does not make you a father.

Murithi Swalee: These ladies never get satisfied if you providing for the kid they complain you are not available if your available and providing they complain you are a threat to the husband so let ladies complain we are used to that these days.

‘You are amazing,’ Zari Hassan thanks Kenyan artist for gifting him with her late mother’s portrait

Zari Hassan has thanked a Kenyan creative for gifting her with a drawing of her late mum during her visit to Kenya.

She says at first she was skeptical about the surprise but when she saw the gift she couldn’t control her emotions.

“As we walked out of the hotel in Nairobi someone mentioned there is someone to surprise me.

Very skeptical I’m not that kind of a person who loves surprises but I was like ok.

Looking like a kid expecting candy or flowers, @jonewa__ slowly and carefully opened a frame that seemed like a portrait, well it was.

It was my mother’s portrait😢”

Zari says having lost her mum the painting came as a very kind gesture.

“I lost it, was so touched, so many emotions ran, I couldn’t help it.

I cried. Thank you for touching my life differently, you are amazing.”

The mother of five revealed that she was also gifted a portrait painting of her son with a Diamond by another artiste.

Not forgetting the artist who handed me my son @princenillan portrait in the club.

I love you back…Nee calls it his ‘favorite photo of all time’. Thank you, we appreciate you😊 🤝

Zari Hassan overcome by emotions after being gifted her late mother’s potrait

Zari’s mother passed away in 2017 while undergoing treatment at Nakasero Hospital in Kampala Uganda.

Mrs. Halima Hassan was hospitalized after she suffered a heart attack and after spending a few days in hospital, she returned home.

She was re-admitted at Nakasero where she died.

Zari and her siblings spent the better part of the week camping at the hospital hoping that their loved one would return back home but that was not bound to happen.

The mother of five took to social media to share the sad news with her followers and she wrote;

“It’s with deep sorrow that my family and I announce the death of our lovely mother who passed on this morning. May her soul rest in peace, May Allah forgive you your sins and grant you Jana.

You will forever be loved our Old Sun, us as your kids were given the best from God as our mother. We appreciate all you did for us. We will forever cherish you Mama.

Sleep well. “
