Yvette Obura and Kanze Dena have a few things in common. Okay they are ladies dah, and they celebrities but there is more.Both have been seriously body shamed on social media by trolls.
Speaking to Massawe, she revealed that the Statehouse spokesperson helped her when she was depressed after being body-shamed on social media.
“I was super heavy the first time I appeared on Bahati’s reality show. I was super big, 98kgs. I was not used to trolls. I was an emotional person so when I saw the savage posts I told myself I put myself on the show. What can I do?Actually among the people who helped me get out of depression was Kanze. I used to see the comments and say this is sooo sad. ’ She said.
Recently, Kanze Dena went through the same experience when she made her first public appearance to address the press, after giving birth.And just like Kanze was there for Yvette, she was there for her too.
Kanze was addressing the press about President Kenyatta’s trip to Sagana and her pictures shared by PSCU went viral. People spoke about how heavy she appeared compared to when she was on TV.
