Kevin Bahati is the talk of the day after Khaligraph Jones referred to him in his new song Hao, featuring Masauti as ‘mtoto wa Diana’.
Not only has the song showcased the O.G’s excellent rap skills yet again, but it has put the target of his excellent flow in the spotlight and not in the best of ways.
The verse by Khaligraph might seems mean at first glance but was a commentary on how celebs at first can be seen as hero’s to their fans when they enter the scene but then become zero’s over time in those same fans eyes.
Khaligraph’s line is below:
“Kuwa celebrity ni garama juu wakishakujua ni lawama, Bahati akianza alikuwa mtoto wa mama sahii twitter amegeuziwa yeye ni mtoto wa Diana hakuna huruma siri ni kulenga tu,” says the rapper in the song.
Since the song dropped, all people could sing about was that line and memes had been quickly made. What did Bahati himself have to say about the verse considering he and Khaligraph are on cordial terms?
He did something I think was very smart. He didn’t get butthurt about the line and showed that he could take a joke by sharing a photoshopped image of himself being held by Diana as if he was a baby. His caption is below:
“Bahati Akianza Alikua Mtoto Wa Mama • Sahiiii Ni Mtoto Wa Diana and I’m Loving it ❤️ @DIANA_MARUA,” wrote Bahati.
Diana Marua commented on the very same post saying: “Mtoto Waaaannngggguuuuu ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ I just love how we stop Reggae 😂😂😂 Love you Baby @bahatikenya”
Bahati’s response worked excellently with most of his fans praising his mature way of looking at the song. I too am impressed. That is how you get ahead of a joke.
