1) Brooklyn
Set in 1950s Brooklyn, this drama follows a young immigrant, Eilis Lacey, (Saoirse Ronan) as she leaves her home in Ireland to make a new life for herself in New York City. But struggles arise when she has to choose between her old home and her new one.

2) Miss You Already

​Drew Barrymore and Toni Collette play lifelong best friends Jess and Milly, who’ve done everything together since they were little girls. But their enduring relationship is put to the test as one tries to get pregnant and the other is diagnosed with a terminal illness.

3) Spectre
Daniel Craig is back as James Bond, whose latest adventure ensues after the discovery of a dangerous secret organization named Spectre. Christoph Waltz, Monica Bellucci and Léa Seydoux also star.

4) Spotlight

​Spotlight follows a group of reporters and editors from The Boston Globe as they investigate a scandal involving local priests accused of child molestation. This drama boasts an all-star cast, with Mark Ruffalo, Michael Keaton, Rachel McAdams, John Slattery, Liev Schrieber and Stanley Tucci starring.

5) Trumbo

​Breaking Bad’s​​ Brian Cranston plays Dalton Trumbo, a successful screenplay writer in the 1940s who was blacklisted after he refused to testify during investigations of Communist activities in the entertainment industry.

6) By the Sea

Angelina Jolie follows up her directorial debut ​Unbroken with ​By The Sea, ​which follows an American writer (Brad Pitt) and his wife (Jolie) as they work on their struggling marriage in 1970s France.

7) James White

In this coming-of-age story, a young man in New York City leads a hedonistic, reckless lifestyle, but deep family struggles make him re-evaluate his life.

8) Man Up

When Jack (Simon Pegg) mistakes Nancy (Lake Bell) for his blind date, she plays along, pretending to be someone 10 years younger. Things change course when Jack finds out the truth.

9) Carol
Cate Blanchett and Rooney Mara play two women from different worlds: Carol (Blanchett) is a married, older woman and Therese Belivet (Mara) is department store clerk who seeks her affection. This drama, directed by Todd Haynes, takes place in 1950s New York.

10) The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 2

In the final installment of the Hunger Games series, Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) and co. leave District 13 on an epic mission to free the citizens of Panem and assassinate President Snow.
