Maina Kageni elicits debate over though-provoking comment

"Enough is a decision not an amount. How much is enough," the comment by a user read.

Radio star Maina Kageni reminded his listeners about the meaning of a phrase that has seemingly been forgotten and its true meaning has not been understood.

He asked them a question on his  morning show #MainaAndKingangi. This question comes after a listener (Baba Nelly) asked Maina about a topic of interest to the public.

Maina quotes it, "Enough is a decision not an amount. How much is enough.'

The radio star asked his listeners whether they understood the meaning of the statement above.

Maina Kageni states, "We tend to forget the meaning of this word, always forget about  it and we never understand what its true meaning is."

He further explained himself and answered, "If you put an amount to it you will never reach the end. It is like money, money can never end, and numbers can never end. When you decide when you have had enough."

He continues to say, " Contentment and absolute happiness only come when you make a decision that  you have had enough."

Some listeners have reacted to the morning question asked by radio presenter Maina and these are some of the responses from both X and Instagram:
