Oscar Award-winning actress Lupita Nyong'o and Hollywood actor Joshua Jackson have reportedly made their relationship public.
On March 3, circulating online were photos showing Lupita holding hands with Joshua during a romantic beach walk in their swimsuits in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. This getaway was in celebration of Lupita's 41st birthday.
"They looked madly in love. Like they just couldn't get enough of one another," an eyewitness shared with E! News.
According to E! News, Joshua celebrated the US actress' 41st birthday on March 1 with a large balloon display and a stunning bouquet in their hotel suite.
During their beach outing, Lupita was in a patterned two-piece bikini, while Joshua, the former Dawson's Creek actor, wore long black swim trunks.
Last year, Lupita and Jackson sparked dating rumors when they were seen on a romantic walk. They were also spotted running errands together at a local market, accompanied by Lupita's cat Yoyo.
The dating speculations arose after the two enjoyed a Janelle Monáe concert in mid-October. This happened shortly after their respective splits, with Jackson separating from actress Jodie Turner-Smith and Lupita from presenter Selema Masekela.
At the time, Lupita had shared a cryptic Instagram message about her engagement to Selema Masekela, indicating a breakup. The Oscar winner wrote that she was in a relationship "suddenly and devastatingly extinguished by deception."
Jackson's wife had filed for divorce, citing "irreconcilable differences" as the reasons for their separation.
