Ruto-Displaced households in Nairobi to receive Sh10k each

President William Ruto has unveiled a program to aid displaced households in Nairobi, declaring that each household will be granted Sh10,000 to secure alternate accommodation.

During his visit to Mathare on Monday, Ruto affirmed that the government has identified all displaced households and will ensure they receive financial support for rent over the next three months.

"Every household among the 40,000 households displaced in Nairobi County will receive Sh10,000 so they can secure alternative accommodation as we strategize for their future as a government, ensuring every Kenyan has a home and a place to call their own," Ruto stated.
